Heather’s most recent crochet project has been to make a pocket wrap with a hood for a friend – but as she was testing it on our son, he claimed it. So it has now become the “crocheted gaming cloak with integrated storage”.
As we have all been hunkered down at home and as it is getting colder outside, having a nice, snug wrap while sitting at the computer has become a nice little pick me up. We are spending a lot of time on the computer lately with school, video games, etc and being comfortable is pretty huge right now.
This is a link to the written instructions to how the cloak was made and below is a quick overview video. If there is enough interest an actual how to video will likely come later.

Hi. I’m loving this pattern, and my 6 kids have each chosen their yarn. I’m up to joining hoods – and its not looking good. Insides together, so the extra row is on the outside, but it won’t sit flat, keeps rolling over (I attached at the top of the second row). Any suggestions?
So, it’s the top of the body thats rolling? It will stick out a little bit, since we’ve got an extra row tucked in. When the hood is up, it stands out like a collar, when the hood is down, it keeps it from looking too droopy.
Did it attach fairly smoothly?
